Kara & Jason's Clearwater Wedding

I was honored to be part of Kara & Jason's wedding in Clearwater this weekend. The wedding was on the beach and reception was held at the Belleview Biltmore Beach Club.

I think Mike Buoy, Chris Kocher and I shot more than 10,000 frames on Saturday. I'm glad I don't have edit all of them. That honor goes to Mike.

Olivia and Dan - The Knot (Florida Spring/Summer)

We are so happy that Olivia & Dan's wedding was featured in The Knot Florida Spring/Summer issue. They are a great couple! I'm honored that I was able to capture their story and get to know them.

NEW ACTION POSTERS

We are coming out with a new line of "Action Posters". Customer's will be able to select up to three action photos and choose one of our pre-designed backgrounds. We will use the photos and backgrounds to create either a 20x30 or 12x18 poster.

Customer's can select action photos from a game or we can photograph the athlete in a simulated game situation.

DEVON

I created a "brag AD" for Devon's mom this week.  The AD will appear in this years OARS program.

I know absolutely nothing about the sport of rowing but had a great time photographing Devon last weekend.  Since he couldn't really bring his boat or an oar to my house, I photographed him at dusk and turned the sky blue.  The portraits were created in the middle of the street (by my home).

SANTA PHOTOS

Toni and I had a great time last week creating photos (memories) for the children at the Roper YMCA.

I don't normally do Santa Photos but when the YMCA ask us to donate our time and photos for kids we both immediately said yes.

It was really fun working with Santa and his assistant Peppermint. They made things very easy for me to capture authentic expressions of the children. My kids are teenagers now so I forgot how excited little children get when they see Santa.

P.S. - Santa I've been really good this year. Can I please have the new Canon 5D MKII for Christmas?

I'M BACK (Almost)

I haven't blogged since I went into the hospital for emergency surgery back in June. Four months and two surgeries later, I'm starting to feel like myself again. I think my doctor is going clear me to go back to work in about a week.

I just want to thank every one for their prayers, thoughts, and patience during my recovery. I especially want to thank my wife Toni for taking care of me while I was in the hospital and recovering at home.

Since its Football season, check out this video of me getting hit on the sidelines of a game. I didn't see the receiver and defender hit me because I was focusing on the quarterback.

I wasn't hurt but the collision destroyed a brand new $400 flash.

Senior Storyboard

As we worked on product samples for the Class of 2009 I suddenly realized we have a senior of our own.  How did that happen so fast?   It just reminds me that time doesn't stand still for any one, making it all that more important to preserve these milestones whenever possible.

So in honor of our own senior, we developed and are offing the "Senior Storyboard" collage print.  Made up of photos, graphics, and text each "Senior Storyboard" is created to reflect the unique personality, interests, and passions of the featured student.    The version above is 12"x24" and comes ready to hang in a classic art frame.    Since this a custom piece of art, we can format each one to fit a variety of sizes and styles.
