NEW POSTER

I had big plans to work on a number of projects this week end. Things didn't work out as I planned because one of our computers got a nasty virus. I spent all Saturday trying to remove the infection.
After fixing the computer, I was able to complete a few projects. Here is a poster that Tyson's mom commissioned me to create. It's the second poster I've created for him.
Well it's time to get back to work. I have a wedding and engagement photos that need to be processed this week. Check back later to view some of these photos.

TITAN LACROSSE SCHEDULE

I created this schedule for the Olympia Lacrosse team. I saved it as my computer's wallpaper. That way I look at the schedule every day and it reminds that I need to get out of the office in time for the game. We printed about 50 copies and gave them to the players this week. When the players saw them, I overheard them say it was 'sic'--I guess that means good?! I also sent an electronic copy to the booster's club.

Also, I photographed last nights game and captured some really great action photos of the team. Check back this weekend for the slide show.

Proud Dad

It seems like life moves so fast these days. We run from one activity to the next without taking the time to slow down and appreciate the people who mean the most to us. In my case its my family (Toni, Megan, Ryan, and Shelby). I love them all dearly and in case they read this I also love them all EQUALLY. :-)

However, I just need to take a moment say how proud I am of my son Ryan. He is a freshman at Olympia H.S. this year. He has never really been into sports. Yes he played a few years of YMCA soccer but it was never his passion. So, when he came home a couple months ago an announced that he was going to try out for the High School Lacrosse team my first thought was "we have to purchase a lot of expensive equipment that he is never going to use." I'm not really into selling things on eBay so I figured it would sit in our garage with all the sports equipment I don't use any more.

Fast forward two months. Ryan worked out with the team during the preseason and played in the winter league. When he broke his thumb the first day of regular season practice I thought it was all over and that I should probably make some room in the garage for his equipment. But no, we purchased a better pair of gloves (more expensive) and Ryan kept practicing/learning the game.

I'm proud to say Ryan started as the JV goalie last night in his first High School Lacrosse game. Ryan - Keep it up!

Love,
Dad

Freedom Basketball

Here is a poster I made for the senior players on the Freedom HS basketball team this year. I like to make these types of posters because I know they will remind the players and their parents of this special time in their lives.

Because these posters are very economical, coaches, parents, or booster clubs often purchase them as end of season senior gifts. Its always fun to see their faces when open their framed posters at the end of year banquet.

KIKI

I had a busy but fun weekend. I had the opportunity to create some great photos for a number of interesting people. The list includes some actors going on tour to LA this week, the Freedom H.S. basketball team, Jon & Stephanie's wedding, and Liz & Nolan's engagement session. I'll post some of my favorites later this week.

The first here are a couple photos Kiki. She is an amazing young woman that I think is destine to great things. She is only 15 and is already in College and has her own internet jewelry store. Good luck in LA this week Kiki!
